GSSS Ghuman Students Visit Kamla Nehru College for Educational Exposure
An educational visit was arranged for the students of Government Senior Secondary School, Ghuman, at Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, with the objective of providing academic exposure and career awareness to senior school students. A total of 65 students from classes IX, X, XI, and XII, accompanied by four teachers, participated in the visit.
During the visit, the students explored various departments of the college, including the Library, Virasat Bhawan, and Computer Laboratories, where they gained insight into higher education resources and learning environments. The students attended workshops conducted by the Cosmetology and Fashion Designing departments, where they were provided with subject knowledge along with hands-on practical training.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Neeti highlighted the importance of such educational visits in broadening students’ horizons and helping them make informed career choices. She also motivated the students to pursue their interests with confidence and dedication.
In her address, the college Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal warmly welcomed the students and teachers. She emphasized the college’s commitment to holistic education, skill development, and cultural enrichment. She motivated the students to set clear goals and make the best use of educational opportunities available to them.
