Constitution Day

Under the able guidance of the respected College Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal, the NSS Unit, Legal Literacy Cell and NCC Wing of the college jointly celebrated Constitution Day with great zeal and patriotic spirit. The programme aimed to create awareness among students regarding the significance of the Indian Constitution and its core values.

On this occasion, an extension lecture was delivered by Dr. Rinka, who highlighted the importance of constitutional values such as justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity in strengthening Indian democracy. Her enlightening address motivated students to understand, respect, and uphold their constitutional rights and duties.

To further encourage creativity and awareness, a Poster Making Competition and Speech Competition were organised. The speech competition witnessed active participation by students namely Gurjit Kaur, Navneet Kaur, Mehakpreet, Mentaj Kaur, and Baljit Kaur, who eloquently expressed their views on constitutional principles. Students showcased their thoughts through artistic posters and impactful speeches, reflecting their deep understanding of the Constitution. A pledge to uphold the ideals of the Constitution was also taken by faculty members and volunteers. Around 100 students actively participated in the event with great enthusiasm.

In her address, Principal Dr. Savinder Pal appreciated the joint efforts of the NSS Unit, Legal Literacy Cell and NCC Wing and applauded the students for their sincere participation. She encouraged everyone to imbibe the values of the Constitution in their daily lives and contribute towards building a just, fair, and harmonious society.
The programme was efficiently coordinated by Dr. Rinka, Dr Kamlesh Incharges of the Legal Literacy Cell, along with NSS Programme Officers Ms. Nidhi Jassal and Dr. Tavisha, and Ms. Khushi, whose dedicated efforts ensured the smooth and successful execution of the event.
