The NSS Unit of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, celebrated National Integration Day on 19th November 2025 with great enthusiasm and a strong sense of national pride. The observance aimed to promote unity, mutual respect, and harmony among students, reinforcing the idea that India’s strength lies in its cultural diversity.

To mark the occasion, a series of meaningful activities were organized such as Essay Writing Competition on the theme “Strengthening National Integration”, where about 100 students expressed thoughtful insights on unity, peace, and national progress. Debate Competition, encouraging participants to present diverse perspectives on the role of national integration in building a strong and inclusive India followed by Pledge Ceremony, in which about 100 students reaffirmed their commitment to unity, integrity, and respect for India’s cultural and social diversity.

The event was coordinated by NSS Programme Officers Ms. Nidhi Jassal and Dr. Tavisha, who encouraged and appreciated the students for their active participation and meaningful contributions.

The programme concluded with words of appreciation from Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, who emphasized the importance of peace, harmony, and togetherness for nation-building.
