156th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and the 121st Birth Anniversary of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri

Under the able guidance of Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal, the NSS Unit organized Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competitions on the themes “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” and “No Plastic Use.” More than 70 students enthusiastically participated in the competitions, and their artworks and slogans echoed powerful messages of cleanliness, peace, self-reliance, and patriotism, reflecting their deep understanding of the leaders’ timeless teachings and their continued relevance in today’s world.

The celebration aimed to pay a heartfelt tribute to two of India’s most revered leaders, Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, and Lal Bahadur Shastri, the symbol of simplicity, humility, and integrity. Both leaders continue to inspire generations with their ideals of truth, non-violence, and service to the nation.

The event was successfully coordinated by NSS Programme Officers Ms. Nidhi Jassal and Dr. Tavisha Singh, with their efforts and motivation the participants were encouraged to perform remarkably well.

Principal Dr. Savinder Pal appreciated the efforts of the NSS Unit for organizing meaningful activities that instill moral values and national pride among students. She emphasized that the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri hold great relevance in today’s world and should continue to guide young minds toward building a peaceful and progressive nation.
