Walls that Speak Cleanliness: Day 4 of Swachh Bharat Campaign

Kamla Nehru College for Women continued its Swachh Bharat Campaign with great enthusiasm on Day 4, featuring a vibrant Wall Painting Competition organized by the NCC and NSS units of the college.
Armed with brushes and colors, students transformed dull walls into canvases of awareness, painting powerful visuals and slogans on cleanliness, hygiene, waste management, and a plastic-free lifestyle. The walls came alive with themes like “Clean India, Green India,” “Say No to Plastic,” and “Be the Change You Wish to See.”
The initiative not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the campus but also served as a permanent reminder of the importance of cleanliness and civic responsibility. Principal Dr. Savinder Pal appreciated the efforts of the students, emphasizing that such creative endeavors instill environmental consciousness and inspire collective action.
The event was successfully coordinated by NCC CTO Ms. Khushi and NSS Programme Officers Ms. Nidhi and Dr. Tavisha, who encouraged students to use art as a tool for social change.
The week-long Swachh Bharat Campaign will continue with more impactful activities leading up to October 1, 2025, carrying forward the vision of a cleaner and greener nation.
