Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, held its Induction cum Orientation Programme on 21st July 2025 to mark the commencement of the new academic year. The programme commenced with a soulful prayer, followed by a formal introduction to the college’s Code of Conduct, outlining the rules of the college.

Principal Dr. Savinder Pal addressed the gathering with a motivating speech, warmly welcoming the freshers. She urged students to pursue excellence and reminded them that “the word ‘impossible’ itself says ‘I’m possible’,” encouraging them to embrace challenges with confidence. She also introduced the faculty members to the students.

As part of the session, the college introduced its student welfare initiative Mission We Care, and Time Table Incharges were announced. The highlight of the day was the release of the Annual College Magazine ‘Aastha’, showcasing the creative and intellectual contributions of the both students and faculty.

The programme concluded with optimism and encouragement, leaving the new students motivated and ready to begin their academic journey at KNCW with confidence and enthusiasm.
