A special assembly was held on 16.04.2025 at Kamla Nehru College to raise awareness among students about the SWAYAM portal—an initiative by the Government of India to provide quality education through online courses.

The informative session was conducted by Ms. Swati from the Computer Department, who guided students on how to access and effectively use the SWAYAM platform for self-paced learning and skill enhancement. She highlighted the range of courses available, registration process, and the benefits of earning certificates from reputed institutions.

This awareness program was organized under the valuable guidance of the college Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal Kaur, who emphasized the importance of digital learning platforms in today’s academic environment.She encouraged students to take full advantage of such opportunities to complement their classroom learning.

The session was well-received by around 400 students and marked a significant step towards promoting digital education at the college.
