Under the able guidance of College Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal, the Economics department of KNCW organised a PowerPoint Presentation Competition on the topic “Future Prospects of Agriculture in India.” The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, aiming to shed light on the evolving landscape of Indian agriculture.
A total of twelve students took part in the competition, showcasing their knowledge, creativity, and research through engaging presentations. The participants were judged on the basis of content quality and presentation skills, reflecting both their academic understanding and communication abilities.

Ishita from B.Sc. Eco. IV Sem and Muskan from B.Sc. Eco. II Sem secured the first position; Komal and Radhika from B.Sc. Eco. IV Sem, along with Neha and Prabhleen from B.A. IV Sem., secured the second position; while Harneet from B.Sc. Eco. VI Sem and Jaspreet Kaur from +2 Commerce stood third. A consolation prize was awarded to Preeti, Jaspreet, and Komal, students of B.Sc. Eco. II Sem.

The competition concluded on a high note with a motivating address by the respected Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal, who appreciated the hard work and participation of the students. Madam Principal also commended the efforts of the organising team for organising such meaningful academic activities and encouraged them to continue fostering students’ presentation skills and confidence through similar initiatives.
