Kamla Nehru College for Women organized a send-off Party in honor of Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, Department of Punjabi on March 29, 2025 who retired after serving 21 years of her service in this institution. She, along with her family members was given a warm floral welcome. The highlight of the event was a series of heartfelt speeches. Dr. Ruminder, Head, Department of Punjabi and Dr. Neeti from the department of Psychology shared their views about their long association with Madam Gurpreet Kaur. Ms. Malika read citation in honor of Dr. Gurpreet Kaur. Dr. Lalit dedicated a heartfelt song to Madam Gurpreet Kaur which enthralled everyone present. A PowerPoint presentation related to the memories was displayed. Madam Gurpreet Kaur also spoke about her long journey in this college. She also became emotional reminiscing the cherishable memories of this college and her long association with the department. She also expressed her gratitude to everyone who had been part of this journey.The faculty and non-faculty members presented token of love to Madam Gurpreet Kaur. Mr. Harjinder was the stage secretary on this occasion. The college Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal expressed her gratitude towards Dr. Gurpreet Kaur for her impactful contribution to the growth and success of the institution. She also wished her a healthy and happy retired life.
