IQAC in collaboration with Professor Puran Singh Science Society and Red Ribbon Society of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara celebrated “World Water Day”. On this occasion, around 25 students present ‘‘Placard Poster presentation’’ under the theme of ’Leveraging Water for peace’. The foremost incentive of this event was to emphasize the importance of water as a tool for peace and cooperation, highlighting its role in fostering harmony, generating prosperity, and building resilience to shared challenges. Dr. Savinder Pal, the college principal motivated the students and enlightened them with her views about sustainably manage the natural resource of fresh water, protect the hydrosphere, and meet current and future human demand. Students also took pledge to consume the most precious treasure water judiciously and not waste even a drop of water.
