According to the guidelines of UGC and Under the leadership of Principal Dr. Savinder Pal , Anti-Ragging Week was celebrated at Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara from 12th August to 18th August 2023, in which an Orientation program regarding ragging and its consequences was conducted on 12th August 2023. Principal Dr. Savinder Pal advised the students not to indulge in ragging ever. On 16 August 2023, Anti- ragging committee organized a Poster-making Competition based on the theme of ‘Anti-ragging’ in which students participated enthusiastically.Harshita of B.B.A. Sem I bagged first place, Jasmine Saini bagged second and Navjot Kaur of B.Com(1)won the third position. Consolation prize was awarded to Parveen of B.com sem I. A special assembly was organized on August 17 in which 600 students participated. During this, they were shown Short documentary films and some TVC related to this subject. On August 18, the students also took an oath that they will not be involved in ragging in any direct or indirect form and will do their part to remove this evil from the society.
