Under the able guidance of Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal, 33 students alongwith Assistant Professors Ms. Priyanka Mankhand, Ms. Supriya Lamba and Ms.Tunish Kaur  of Science Deparment, Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara visited Lovely Professional University, Phagwara on April 6 ,2023 to attend the workshop on biotechnology where students of first year  learnt about the principle and working of various instruments like Autoclave, Laminar Airflow, Hot Air Oven and aspects of Plant Tissue Culture.Second and Third year students grasped the knowledge related to Animal Tissue Culture. Dr.Neeta Raj ( Dean and Head of Bioengineering & Biosciences School), Dr.Joydeep Dutta,Dr. Minhaj Ahmad Khan, Dr.Jeena Gupta, Dr.Arvind and their research scholars Mr. Inderpal,Mr.Mukesh and Ms. Nancy were associated with students  where they  explained at length regarding tissue culture topics and handled all the queries of students. Dr. Savinder Pal congratulated and motivated the faculty members to organise such visits in future also.
