Inter-class Sports Competition was organised for 11 and 12 class at  Kamla Nehru Junior College for Women, Phagwara. Students enthusiastically participated in various games which included Badminton, Kho-Kho, Basketball, and Tug-of-War. Students’ teams from different streams were formed. Competitive spirit was seen among students as they competed against one another. In Basketball competition, Team B, consisted of Arts students was declared winner. Students of Arts and Non-Med from Team B were announced winner in Tug-of-War. Team A, made up of students from Commerce and Science stream  won the kho- Khogame. In the Badminton game, students from Arts stream were the winners in doubles whereas students from Commerce and Arts stream won the singles. Winners were awarded with certificates and medals. Dr. Savinder Pal, the college principal, congratulated the winners and encouraged the students by saying that the students should participate in these activities to refine their personality. She also lauded the efforts of organisers for having organised this competition.
