In order to celebrate National Nutrition Month 2022, Department of Home Science at Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara performed a short-act-play on the theme of “Nutritious Diet of Adolescent Girls” in the morning assembly held in college Auditorium on 21st September, 2022 under the able guidance of principal Dr.Savinder pal. Around 650 students were present on this occasion.The Name of the play was ‘’Kyu Ki Jeena Essi Ka Naam Hai”. Students of Diploma in Nanny Care and Nutrition performed this act. The main aim of students was to spread awareness about current issues of Anemia, problems related with  menstrual cycle, obesity, healthy diet,  by focusing on nutritious diet of children and adolescent girls.Principal of the college, Dr.Savinder pal applauded the efforts of the participants for  the play and encouraged the students to adopt nutritious diet in their daily lives.
