Department of Fashion Designing organized an Industrial Visit to Gurkirpa Spinning and Weaving Mill, Hoshiarpur for the students of department on 17th May, 2022. Four teachers and thirty students visited the industry. Mr. Raman Sharma , Manager of the company explained the process of fabric construction and spinning of yarn very well to the students. Students saw the detail construction methods of fabric on shuttless loom. They also gained practical knowledge of stitching on high speed machines.it was very fruitful experience for the students. College principal Dr.Savinder Pal congratulated the whole department for organizing this visit and motivated them to arrange such visits in future also.
