Legal Literacy Cell, department of Political Science  and NSS unit of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara organized a Webinar on the theme “Voting Rights in India” under the guidance of Madam Principal Dr. Savinder Pal. Ms Jyoti, Assistant Professor, DRVDAV College, Phillaur was the Resource Person. Dr. Rinka Head,  Department of Political Science welcomed the Resource Person and the virtual participants. About 70 students attended this webinar. She emphasized that every vote counts and Election is the necessary condition for democratic states and she also encouraged the students to definately cast their vote in coming election of Punjab Assembly. Dr. Priyanka Aeri NSS Programme Officer formally thanked the Resource Person for sparing her precious time and sharing her valuable views with the participants. College Principal Dr. Savinder Pal congratulated the organizing committee for organizing such a great lecture which is the need of the hour.
