Webinar Organized On “Guidelines for Science Research Journal” at Kamla Nehru College For Women, Phagwara
Science Research Journal Committee, Kamla Nehru College For Women, Phagwara organized a webinar on “Guidelines for Science Research Journal” in collaboration with IQAC on June 14, 2021. Dr. Vanita Chahal, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, Kamla Nehru College For Women, Phagwara acted as the resource person. Ms. Priyanka, HOD, Department of Science introduced Dr. Vanita Chahal. Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal extended a warm virtual welcome to the attendees. In her presentation, Dr. Vanita Chahal explained how to write the contents of Research as well as Review papers. She further discussed about the information to be presented in various parts of the contents like Title, Abstract, Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, References etc. She also shed light on the font style, font size and various other keywords to be considered while writing various papers. In conjugation with these things, she stressed on getting beware of Plagiarism.
Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal expressed her gratitude to Dr. Vanita Chahal for providing such a valuable information to the students and faculty members. She also motivated students to contribute to the solutions of societal problems by writing such Research Papers. She congratulated the organizers of webinar Ms. Priyanka, Ms. Manvinder Kaur and Science Research Journal Committee and motivated them for organizing such webinars in future also. In the end, Ms. Manvinder Kaur thanked Dr. Savinder Pal and students of Science Department. Almost around 75 participants attended the illuminating webinar.
