On 1 October 2021 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara under the guidance of college principal Dr. Savinder Pal,  Fine Arts department and economics department  organised various competitions.

Under the guidance of Dr. Sudhamani Sood, Head department of Fine Arts Poster Making Competition on the theme “Peace” was organised in which Tania  got first position, Komal Diswar and Kushboo got second position, Komal got third position and Komal Basra got consolation prizes.

Under the guidance of Dr. Kanwaljeet Singh, Head department Economics  on the topic “Three Form Bill” Essay Writing Competition and on the  Theme “Jay Jawan Jai Kisan” Slogan Writing Competition was organised. In the essay writing competition Uma Kumari, Kulwant Kaur, Pooja and Avneet got first second and third position respectively. In the Slogan Writing Competition Neha got first position, Komal and Anamika got second position and  Anita and Pooja got third positions.

College Principal congratulated the organisers and winners and encourage the students to show more participation in such competitions in future as well.
