The NSS Unit of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, celebrated the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour from 27th October to 31st October 2025. The celebration marked National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas), honouring the legacy of the Iron Man of India and emphasizing the importance of unity and integrity among students.

As part of the celebration, a Poster Making Competition on the theme “Unity in Diversity” was organized on 27th October 2025. Around 50 NSS volunteers participated with great creativity and zeal, beautifully portraying their ideas and messages through art.

The programme was coordinated by NSS Programme Officers Ms. Nidhi Jassal and Dr. Tavisha, who encouraged the participants and appreciated their efforts in conveying powerful social messages through their posters.
